Fans, father grieve death of 'Fast & Furious' star Paul Walker

Paul Walker, a star of the "Fast & Furious" movie franchise, died Saturday in a car crash, according to his official Facebook page and verified Twitter account. He was 40.
Stunned by his untimely death in a car wreck, fans, friends and family remembered actor Paul Walker -- what he meant to them and what he did for them.
His father remembered him as a loving son who wanted to take a hiatus from acting. A fellow actor recalled how he had just celebrated Walker's 40th birthday. And a U.S. military veteran will forever be grateful for a touching act of generosity.
Walker died in a fiery crash in Southern California on Saturday. He was in the passenger seat of a 2005 Porsche Carrera GT, driven by a racing team partner, that slammed into a light pole and burst into flames in the community of Valencia, Santa Clarita, about 30 miles north of Hollywood.
The driver,  Roger Rodas, also died.
Day and night Sunday, legions of fans gathered near the charred roadside where Walker died.
Tyrese Gibson, Walker's co-star in several "Fast & Furious" movies, broke down as he laid a yellow flower at the site.
"My heart is hurting so bad no one can make me believe this is real," the singer and actor posted on Instagram. He also shared the duo's last text exchange.
Remarkable generosity
Tales of Walker's philanthropy are not new. CNN confirmed one story from a decade ago when Walker noticed a young U.S. soldier shopping with his fiancee for a wedding ring in a Santa Barbara jewelry store.
"The groom was just back from duty in Iraq, and he was going to be deployed again soon and wanted to buy a wedding ring, but he said he just could not afford it," saleswoman Irene King told CNN. "I don't think the soldier realized how expensive those rings are, about $10,000."
The couple apparently did not know who Walker was, King said.
"Walker called the manager over and said, 'Put that girl's ring on my tab,' " she said. "Walker left all his billing info, and it was a done deal. The couple was stunned. She was thrilled and could not believe someone did this."
King called it "the most generous thing I have ever seen."
A grieving father
Walker Sr. choked back tears as he remembered his son.
"His heart was so big," Paul Walker Sr. told CNN affiliate KCAL"I was proud of him every day of his life."
The actor told his father that he wanted to take a hiatus from acting to spend more time with his 15-year-old daughter, Meadow, Walker Sr. said.
"And then boom, he got another movie. He would say, 'I don't know what to do,'" the elder Walker said.
He said the actor's siblings are having an especially hard time grappling with the death.
"I'm just ... glad that every time I saw him, I told him I loved him," Walker Sr. said. And he would say the same thing to me."
Future of franchise
At the time of his death, he was working on the seventh film of the franchise, due out next year.
It's unclear how the film's production might proceed. When Oliver Reed died mid-production of "Gladiator," the rest of his scenes included a digitally-produced image of his face on another actor's body, Tom O'Neil, editor of the show business website Goldderby.com, told CNN.
In some cases, other actors have filled in for co-stars who have passed away.
"We don't know what they'll do here, or even if they'll just say, "It may be tasteless to proceed at all because we can't be showing Paul Walker in a speeding car, defying death in a movie that ended up being the way he died,'" O'Neil said.
Questionable speed
Los Angeles Coroner Investigator Dana Bee said Sunday it would likely take 48 hours to officially identify the remains taken from the twisted wreckage. The families are gathering dental records for use in the identification, which is necessary because of the condition of the bodies, Bee said.
Speed was a factor in the crash, the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Office said. A 45 mph speed limit sign was attached to the light pole knocked down by the Porsche.
The car, which sold for $450,000 when new, is a notoriously difficult vehicle to handle, even for professional drivers, according to Autoweek magazine. A top driver called it "scary," the magazine reported Sunday. It is powered by a V-10, 610-hp engine.
The wreck took place about 3:30 p.m. just a few hundred yards from the shop owned by Rodas. Both men had attended a holiday toy drive for Walker's charity, Reach Out Worldwide, hosted at the shop Saturday afternoon.
Antonio Holmes told the Santa Clarita Valley Signal newspaper that he was at the charity event when Walker and Rodas left for a ride in the Porsche.
"We all heard from our location," Holmes told the Signal. "It's a little difficult to know what it was. Someone called it in and said it was a vehicle fire. We all ran around and jumped in cars and grabbed fire extinguishers and immediately went to the vehicle. It was engulfed in flames. There was nothing. They were trapped. Employees, friends of the shop. We tried. We tried. We went through fire extinguishers."
A crowd of grieving fans, curious onlookers and media surrounded the crash site for hours, watching as investigators and firefighters worked to extract the bodies from the wreckage.
Walker and Rodas had planned Saturday as a day to help survivors of victims of Typhoon Haiyan in the Philippines. The car shop website invited customers to the Charity Toy Drive & Automotive Social Gathering.
"During the holiday season, many economically disadvantaged children from around the world are faced with the same dilemma year after year; the lacking of joy and cheer," the invitation read. "Our goal here is to be able to provide aid to these less fortunate children in hopes of helping them grow up to become confident, responsible and productive young adults."
Walker's charity is described as "a network of professionals with first responder skill-sets who augment local expertise when natural disasters strike in order to accelerate relief efforts."
Box office success
Walker's career began on the small screen, first with a commercial for Pampers when he was 2, and then with parts in shows such as "Highway to Heaven" and "Touched by an Angel."
His first few movie roles were as supporting characters in teen flicks, most notably in "Varsity Blues." But his career really took off when he was cast as undercover cop Brian O'Conner infiltrating a street-racing gang in 2001's "The Fast and the Furious."
The box-office success of the surprise summer hit yielded numerous sequels. And along with Vin Diesel, Walker was one of the franchise stalwarts.
Walker wasn't just a car enthusiast on the silver screen; offscreen, the actor competed in the Redline Time Attack racing series.
On his verified Twitter account, Walker described himself as an "outdoorsman, ocean addict, adrenaline junkie ... and I do some acting on the side."
Walker also is the star of "Hours," an independent film scheduled to be released December 13 about a father struggling to keep his newborn infant alive in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina in New Orleans.

Miley Cyrus cries while singing Wrecking Ball into a banana-shaped microphone

Miley Cyrus this weekend broke down in tears – while wearing a string vest and some nipple stickers, and what looks like a supportive jock strap, and while singing into a microphone shaped like a banana – while performing Wrecking Ball. You’d be forgiven for thinking Miley was crying because of her outfit, microphone choice and the direction her life is going in, but she wasn’t.
No, instead Miley was crying because of all of the emotions she was feeling while singing a song that was a not-very-coded account of her raw and recently ended relationship with Aussie actor Liam Hemsworth.

The Wanted dump Justin Bieber from album because his song 'didn't fit

Have The Wanted just committed career suicide? Apparently the fivesome have decided to scrap a collaboration with Justin Bieber on their upcoming album because the tune didn't work. Justin is reportedly now sitting in a dark room, topless, drawing bullseyes on his The Wanted 2012 calendar, and crying.
So what happened, The Wanted? Where did it all go so terribly, terribly wrong? What reason could you possibly give for why the Biebster is now making his tiny moustache all soggy with his tears?
Max George explained: "We did a song with Justin. I think it was a great song and he did an amazing job writing it, but I think it was very much more suited to his style."
Ouch. The band quickly tried to soothe those wounds by saying Justin was "too humble" to ever give them advice on handling their new-found fame.
"He's not someone who really gives advice like that because I think he just appreciates what's happened to him rather than thinks he's, y'know, God," continued Max. "We talk about… football, or basketball. Or, you know, normal stuff."
The boys also discussed why their album has been pushed back (and back and back), and apparently it's nothing to do with Justin Bieber repeatedly calling their house late at night and hanging up until they suffered too much sleep deprivation to drag themselves into a recording studio, and everything to do with them having musical integrity.
"I think that we weren't ready a year ago. It just wasn't ready; the songs weren't finished," said Siva Kaneswaran.
"We want to put out the best of us and we are ready now and every song is so personal and we've all aged as writers, and it's very mature ... and it's the best album yet."
Word of Mouth is due out on November 4th. Can't wait that long? Occupy your time by looking at these alternative uses of Justin Bieber's very thin 'tache.

Rihanna with the Loris in question.

Rihanna takes a picture of a slow loris so hard that two people are arrested

Clothes-shunning popstress Rihanna has saved an endangered slow loris from captivity using the power of her Instagram alone. This happened. This actually happened.
For those of you not au fait with Rihanna’s gruelling tour schedule, she is currently taking a brief, rare break from her infinite Diamonds tour, a break she is enjoying in the south-east of Asia. DON’T DRINK ANYTHING THAT COMES IN A BUCKET, RIHANNA. DO NOT EAT THE ‘MIXED MEAT’.
Anyway, once there, she took a selfie with a slow loris because of course she took a selfie with a slow loris she is Rihanna, and in doing so she inadvertently led to two people being arrested.

Miley Cyrus draws attention to her nipples in yet another raunchy outfit

Another day another ‘Miley-Cyrus-being-shocking’ incident – and this time it involves her nipples.

Miley showed up to the iHeartRadio Music Festival in Las Vegas in a white mesh mini dress with her skimpy knickers on display, but it was her nipples – hidden behind what looks like rubber molded covers – that got the most attention.

While Miley looked really happy with her outfit, but it’s bound to get all those Miley haters out there in a bit of a tizz.

Art v Tack

It seems that recently everyone’s had their say on Miley’s new mature image. From Cher to her own dad, plenty of showbiz stars have spoken out about Miley - some complimenting her and some not.

Dad Billy Ray said recently, “She's evolving as an artist herself. I think that is what everyone is calling controversy now. That's still my Miley.”
While the likes of Cher and Pink have blasted the young star’s new look, with Pink even calling Miley tacky.
“Am I into it? No, I think it's tacky,” admitted the So What singer. “She's really freaking talented. She's beautiful. She can sing her arse off and to go up there and do that?
“She's cheating herself and she's cheating the rest of us… She can do what she wants. People can like it if they want. I'm not going to buy it. She can do better. I've seen her do better.”
What do you think of Miley's latest attempt to prove that she's all grown up now?

Greg James gets naked and straddles a wrecking ball and says: ‘Miley Cyrus is ludicrous’

Greg James has opened up about that time he got naked and tried to embed a wrecking ball in his tenderness by saying he did it “to show how completely ridiculous” Miley Cyru has been acting lately. A thing he did by copying entirely. He did a ridiculous thing to highlight how ridiculous the thing is. It… it makes sense, okay? Don’t overthink it.
Speaking to Digital Spy, Greg joked about the spoof video he made in the wake of Wrecking Ball-gate, saying Miley would “probably quite turned on” by his clammy, naked hardware swinging.
Here's that naked picture of Greg James you asked for

“On a simple level, the only reason I did it was to make people laugh,” Greg ROFL’d. “I wanted to show how completely ludicrous that video is… by making an absolute fool of myself.
“But it seems to have gone down quite well. I’m quite pleased with it. I think [Miley] would probably be quite turned on.” If you look at what she did to Robin Thicke’s trousers, Greg, you’d know that Miley Cyrus is perennially turned on. Like a thin, naked, horny dog.
"I spoke to my dad afterwards and he said, 'Well done, I think it was very good',” Greg continued. “I said, 'Do you think it was as good as the original?' and he went, 'What original?'
The boys

"He didn't even know what Miley Cyrus was. So he'd seen mine and thought it was an original composition... that's proof that parents love you no matter what you do." That’s what Billy Ray Cyrus is trying to tell himself, yes.
Greg is also set to present BBC Three show Staying in with Greg & Russell with Russell Kane, who is 33 years old and who added, thirty-three-ily: “I think Miley would be jealous that there's someone with more feminine buttocks.
“I don't know if you've seen that movie Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind where you can erase a memory? After I watched Greg's video, I did check to see if that was real. I've been in counselling because I saw the unedited ones where there's a glimpse of pube." Keep trying, Russell Kane.
