Simon Cowell buys Cheryl Cole lady title for her 30th birthday as he reveals that he didn’t snub her party

Simon Cowell seems to be doing quite a good job at making things up to his former BFF Cheryl Cole if his birthday present to her is anything to go by.

Simon Cowell has bought Cheryl Cole the title of Lady for her birthday. The 53-year-old star has reportedly bought a piece of land in the Scottish Highlands under Cheryl’s name which comes complete with a title.

So does that mean we have to now refer to her as Lady Cheryl?“Simon had the deeds for the land and the details of her new title delivered to where Cheryl was staying.”

Cheryl Cole and Simon Cowell used to be BFF's back in the day. It was reported over the weekend that Simon had snubbed Cheryl’s 30th birthday party celebrations after she extended an olive branch with an invite to the bash following the pair’s very public falling out after he sacked her from the X Factor USA in 2011.
 "She sent an invitation to Simon as she genuinely wanted him there.

“He’s been a big part of her life and, despite their falling out, she sees him as an old friend who she was very close to once. She was hoping he’d make it so is a little disappointed he won’t be there.

“She has put all their differences aside and moved on in her life."

However, Simon has now hit back at the allegations that he snubbed his old friend’s bash, tweeting that he adores her and the only reason he missed the event was because it clashed with filming the third series of The X Factor USA.

The same show he fired Cheryl from, awkward.

He tweeted:"I didn't snub Cheryl's party. I just couldn't go because of my filming dates. We are close friends again and I adore her."

Yep, we thought they had one of the strongest relationships in showbiz alas, we have confirmation today that they have decided to go their separate ways.

A spokesperson for the X Factor judge said this lunchtime: "I can confirm that Nicole Scherzinger and Lewis Hamilton have split up.  But we won't be commenting further."

SAY IT AIN'T SO!

According to The Sun, the reason behind the split is the ol’ celeb classic – hectic schedules.

A source told the tabloid: “It’s so hard to keep up a relationship when they’re barely in the same country as each other.”

“Both have supported each other in their careers and will continue to do so. But the nature of their work ultimately cost their relationship.”

It was previously reported that the couple had been struggling with their long distance relationship and finding time for each other with him based in Switzerland and her in the US.

The sad news comes just weeks after Lewis, 28, revealed his plans to propose to Nicole, 35.

He said: “We’ve been together for five years, which is quite a milestone. But hopefully in the near future.”

However, we’re not giving up hope just yet and have our fingers crossed they will get back together.

After all this is not the first time they have broken up - they split in January 2010 but were back together again four months later.

Kate Moss had a body double stand in for her on a London fashion shoot for shoe designer Stuart Weitzman. The 39-year-old model decided there was no point in her loitering around while the photographers got the perfect lighting and angle so she hired a stand in model to do all the boring bits.
As the main accessory the model needed to show off was the thigh-high grey suede boots, the director thought that there was no point allowing Moss and her double to wear much else. Underneath white furry coats, Moss and her twinny wore beige tops which left nothing to the imagination, especially as a few paparazzos' cameras caught, in the cool breeze. Moss on the other hand went to great pains to ensure she was entirely covered whilst her body double went to no such lengths.
According to onlookers, speaking to The Mail, "Kate didn't look her usual fabulous self - and the body double seemed to be doing most of the scenes".
Moss is not the only model to use body doubles. It was reported by Fox last year that the woman who appeared to be Cindy Crawford, appearing in a commercial for Blockbuster Visa in the 90's, was in fact another model Nicole Clark.
Speaking to Fox news last year, former model Nadja Atwal said "If there is a girl with better legs, and the commercial has a scene where the shot only shows legs, then it makes sense to use the model with the better legs."
