Dramatic eXit ... Britney Spears 'needed a break' during X Factor auditions

 

BRITNEY Spears has denied dramatically walking out during the first day of X Factor USA auditions yesterday. 

The 30-year-old judge was reported to have flounced off after one male talent show hopeful butchered her song Hold It Against Me.
Four contestants then had to perform in front of just the three remaining judges Simon Cowell, L.A. Reid and Demi Lovato in Austin, Texas, according to website TMZ.
The Toxic singer, who showed off her legs at the auditions in a bright pink mini dress, later defended her actions on Twitter, claiming her exit had nothing to do with the awful rendition.
She told her followers: “#Britneywalksoff???LOL was just taking a little break people. I am having the BEST time!!!”
Earlier in the day she had tweeted: “Just arrived for @TheXFactorUSA auditions – hope everyone is ready! Still waiting on @SimonCowell of course....”

Show supremo Simon took to Twitter to defend himself and jokingly suggest it was Britney who was in fact late and not him.
He teased: "I have been waiting for @britneyspears for two hours. Still can't find her. @TheXFactorUSA."

The mum-of-two landed a £10million deal to become a judge on the hit US show earlier this month.
