Having a Ball in Asia ... Lady Gaga on stage in Taiwan
LADY Gaga has met busty boys who were not Born That Way at a Bangkok drag club.
The outrageous singer met some of Thailand’s famous lady boys on a night out at the capital's Calypso Cabaret, which features drag acts, two days before her Born This Way Ball Tour gig there.
The show’s manager Nipon Boonmasuwan said she was “moving to the rhythm” and “shouting and screaming” at Wednesday night’s show.
He added: "A million people have to pay to see a Gaga concert, but Gaga paid to see our show."
Meanwhile, Gaga’s manager said that the 26-year-old singer had no intention of toning down her act, despite being refused a permit in Indonesia after Islamic groups objected to her ‘vulgar’ style.
Troy Carter said she "plays the show as it is," and that she is not "provocative for the sake of being provocative.”
Earlier this week she attempted to explain the ban on Twitter.
She said: “The Jakarta situation is 2-fold: Indonesian authorities demand I censor the show and religious extremist separately, are threatening violence.”
But she hinted the Jakarta shown, scheduled for June 3, could go ahead if she performed alone.
She tweeted. "If the show does go on as scheduled, I will perform the BTW Ball alone."
