Did Justin Theroux Miss His Opportunity to Audition For Friends?

Could it be true?
Way back when Friends was looking for their now iconic cast, Justin Theroux had the opportunity to audition...but he skipped it! "I didn't bother. I slept in that day. I wouldn't have been prepared for [the fame]," the actor dished in a recent interview with MR PORTER luxury menswear site's magazine The Journal.
Yikes! Would that have reversed the entire course of Hollywood history as we know it? Sadly, the world will never know. Also on our "So True, So False" radar is Taylor Swift's feud with Katy Perry. Did she make a public apology?
Taylor's entire social media has been wiped clean. All that remained for a little while was her old friendly Twitter exchanges with Katy, but those have since been deleted as well. The singer has either gone on a social media purge or is the victim of a hack. Word on the street is that there could be new music on the way!

A JURY SIDES WITH TAYLOR SWIFT

The singer, who appeared in court on Tuesday, is seeking just $1 in her counter suit against the DJ, as she aims instead for respect with the symbolic move, rather than monetary compensation. The 27-year-old has made the move to send a message that she believes what he did was assault.
Her lawyer says she will be taking to the stand to declare she believes it was indeed assault, while David Mueller ‘unequivocally denies’ any wrongdoing.

Swift alleges Mueller touched her buttock during a meet-and-greet photo session before a show four years ago.
Mueller sued Swift in 2015 claiming she ‘falsely’ accused him of lifting up her skirt and groping her. The alleged incident took place before her concert at the Pepsi Center in Denver in June 2013.
Mr Mueller originally sued the singer in September 2015, calling her allegation of groping false and claiming she had cost him his $150,000 (£115k) -a-year job as a host at country station KYGO-FM after he was fired over the allegations.

On the first day of the trial, the jury, made up of two men and six women, were shown the photograph of the alleged assault, which took place on June 2 in 2013.
In the picture, Mr Mueller and his then-girlfriend, Shannon Melcher, flank Taylor, then 23, with Mueller’s right hand is hidden behind the Shake it Off singer.

In his opening statement, Mueller’s lawyer Gabriel McFarland said his client’s hand ‘is not underneath Miss Swift’s skirt, and her skirt is not rumpled in any fashion’.
Taylor’s camp, however, said he ‘grabbed her rear end’.
McFarland said: ‘David Mueller unequivocally denies he touched her inappropriately in anyway.
‘Falsely accusing someone of inappropriate touching is equally offensive, equally wrong and should not be tolerated.’ He stated that his client was suing for loss of earnings and to ‘clear his name’.

The singer’s lawyer, Douglas Baldridge, responded that ‘it’s not inappropriate touching. It’s assault.’
They also claim that the DJ gave seven accounts of what took place.
The trial continues.
