CROUCHING Tiger, Hidden Dragon star Zhang Ziyi has demanded an apology from a newspaper after it claimed she slept with a disgraced Communist party boss for money. 

Reports claimed the Chinese star slept with disgraced leader Bo Xilai at least TEN times between 2007 and 2011.
The reports claim she negotiated similar deals with several other powerful men, including Bo’s close friend Xu Ming, a billionaire tycoon that the Chinese authorities are investigating for alleged corruption.
They allege she earned more than £70MILLION from prostituting herself.
Zhang, 33, denied the claims, saying they were “completely untrue” and “extremely ridiculous”.
Her publicist said: “We read this outrageous report in the Apple Daily. It sent stone-cold chills down our spines and has left us with a feeling of deep sadness.
“Friends have advised us to release a short statement and not take this seriously.
"The more you argue, the more you will stir up. It would be better to step aside until people lose interest and the lies disappear. The innocent will always be innocent.”
Zhang’s lawyers have demanded Apple Daily publishes an apology and a full retraction.
Zhang ignored the allegations when she appeared at the 10th Chinese Film Media Awards earlier this week.
Media reports questioned her absence from the Cannes Film Festival, where her new movie — a Chinese version of “Dangerous Liaisons” — was being promoted.
Some reports said the authorities in Beijing prevented her from leaving the country while they investigated the claims.
Bo’s downfall, involving allegations of murder, jealousy and sexual indiscretion, has become China’s biggest political scandal in more than two decades and had a damaging effect on China’s governing class.
The former senior leader, whose populist policies won him many supporters, was purged after his wife became a suspect in the murder of British businessman Neil Heywood last year.
Bo had been seen as a candidate to join China’s new top leadership team before the scandal broke and party officials fear his ousting and the corruption investigations threaten party unity.

S CLUB 7 are back – and they’re bigger than ever. 

 

The band may have lost four of its members, but the three who remain clearly haven’t informed the catering staff.
Portly Bradley McIntosh, Paul Cattermole and Jo O'Meara performed their cheesy 2000 hit Reach on Australian TV under the smaller name S Club.
But that is all that’s small about them, with Bradley and Paul carrying substantially more weight than they did in their Millennium-circa heyday.
Adding to the cringe-worthy spectacle, the comeback wannabes danced out of time and sounded like a dodgy karaoke act – especially during the harmony-heavy choruses.
The ‘group’ are currently touring down under and stopped by The Morning Show, which was being guest-presented by Dannii Minogue.

It’s unclear whether absent members Rachel Stevens, Tina Barrett, Hannah Spearritt and Jon Lee will rejoin the outfit, despite recent rumours indicating a full reunion is on the cards.

The pad in Camden, North West London, became a shrine after the singer died aged 27 last July, with fans leaving bottles of booze and packs of cigarettes outside along with piles of flowers and cards.
But the online estate agency selling it simply describes it as a “substantial and impressive three double bedroom, three reception room semi-detached period villa with well-proportioned private gardens”.
It had been thought the house would be kept by the family.
And it was earmarked as the HQ for the Amy Winehouse Foundation, the charity set up by the Back to Black star’s parents to support causes close to her heart.
Soon after her death from alcohol poisoning, a source close to the family told The Sun: “They think it’s too precious to give up, hence the new HQ idea.

The killer gang were captured at a ranch hideout in California’s Death Valley.

Porn star hunted by cops over body parts in post probe

A TWISTED killer decapitated and dismembered a man then filmed himself performing a sex act with his remains before posting the footage online. 

 

Bisexual porn star Luka Magnotta, 29, was being hunted by Canadian cops and Interpol today in connection with the video called "1 Lunatic 1 Ice Pick".
It was uploaded on a sick internet gore website last week and ends with someone in a hooded purple jacket leaning over with what appears to be an ice pick.
The probe comes after the victim's dismembered body parts were posted to the offices of two political parties and his torso was found stuffed in a suitcase behind Magnotta’s flat in Montreal. He had been stabbed and his throat cut.

Masked officers were combing the blood-soaked studio apartment yesterday.
Magnotta is also thought by some to be behind videos posted online of a man violently abusing kittens. Cops have also revealed he had a relationship in 2007 with notorious Canadian killer Karla Homolka though.
Magnotta has denied dating the fiend who was convicted of manslaughter after two teenage girls as well as her own sister were raped and murdered in 1991 and 1992. She was released in 2005.
Magnotta's name has for nearly two years been notorious among animal-rights activists looking for the person responsible for torturing and killing cats and posting videos of the sick acts on line. One of the videos, which surfaced in 2010, shows two kittens being suffocated with the help of a vacuum cleaner.
Magnotta, thought to originally be from Toronto, was renting a flat in a working-class neighbourhood where officers found a blood-stained mattress on Tuesday.
The decomposing torso stuffed in a locked suitcase was discovered by a caretaker investigating a foul smell in a pile of rubbish behind the building.

The same day the foot arrived at the offices of the country’s Conservative Party offices and a hand was found at a postal warehouse in Ottawa addressed to the Liberal Party of Canada.
Police said early testing showed the three body parts came from the same man and Magnotta knew the victim. Other body parts were found in the flat.
Montreal Police Commander Ian Lafreniere said: “For most of the officers that were there all night long this is the kind of crime scene they've never seen in their career.”
Magnotta – who also goes by the names Eric Clinton Newman and Vladimir Romanov – had been living in the building for around four months but hadn't been seen for a while.
The building’s manager Eric Schorer said: “He seemed like a nice guy.”

OPERA duo Jonathan Antoine and Charlotte Jaconelli have bagged a £1million deal to put an album out in THREE MONTHS. 

 

Simon Cowell has signed the Britain’s Got Talent runners-up to his Syco label — just as The Sun predicted.
The canny media mogul has booked them back-to-back studio sessions and last night announced their debut album will be out on September 3.
That’s an even faster turnaround than Susan Boyle, whose album I Dreamed A Dream was released six months after she was named Series Three runner-up.
A source said: “Simon knows that to make money from them he needs to move fast. Get the first album out as soon as possible before people have moved on. September is also a good time as The X Factor will be in its live stages so there is a chance to get them on the show and plug the album.”
The album will feature new songs and covers, including The Prayer, which the duo sang at their first audition.
They are working with producer Graham Stack who was behind the first three albums of X Factor opera stars G4.
Simon said: ‘This show is designed to give people like Jonathan and Charlotte an opportunity. Their debut album is going to be stunning.”
Jonathan said: “I’m still pinching myself that we are actually making our own CD.”
Charlotte said: “This is a dream come true for us.”
