But she was determined to keep her precious dolly warm and dry, wrapping her in a blanket and clutching her to her chest.
After a quick stop off, Suri was kitted out in more suitable wet weather wear – and sporting her own pink umbrella with ballet dancers.
It was the perfect match for her bright pink skirt, printed t-shirt and pink cardigan.

She also swapped her doll for a stuffed cat as she headed out for a meal at Pastis to celebrate her return to New York.
Actress Katie left the Mission Impossible star last month, and immediately filed for divorce.
The pair have already thrashed out an agreement over their £175 million estate and the shared custody of Suri.
After spending time with his daughter this week, the 50-year-old actor flew into London yesterday to film further scenes for his sci-fi movie, Oblivion.

Meanwhile Connor Cruise tweeted a picture of his extreme new style.
Tom’s 17-year-old son was sporting a Mohican with a leaf-like design shaved into his head in the picture, which he captioned, “Chopped.”
