SHOCK! Fearne Cotton has announced that she and her fiancée Jesse Jenkins have parted ways. Like actually, properly split for good: we are genuinely sad for them both! A spokesperson confirmed to the MailOnline:
‘Sadly their relationship came to a mutual end last month. There is no one else involved.’
The couple had been engaged for eight months and Fearne had even talked about her plans for the big day:
'I can’t believe I’m ever going to be able to organise a wedding. I’m going to make Holly (Willoughby) do it. She’s the super-planner and I’m the most disorganised girl in the world.'
And if that didn’t make you feel sad, then this probably will, talking about Jesse, Fearne told Glamour magazine earlier this year:
'We always had this magnetic connection and this deep love, and we knew it wasn't right to be apart, but we gave it a go and it didn't work, so we tried to distance ourselves. But we were like magnets clanging back together.’
If that didn’t tug on the old heartstrings then they are probably made of stone or coal. *Sob*.
But if we must look on the bright side, maybe Fearne could rekindle things with her former boy squeeze Steve Jones (Rememeber THAT little fling?). If not, then can we please?
