Leonardo DiCaprio wants to stop acting and become a director

Much to the disappointment of his many female fans (including us) Leonardo DiCaprio has announced that he wants to make the move from being on the big screen to behind the camera.
Leo is one of Hollywood’s biggest stars due to some massively successful roles in The Beach, Romeo & Juliet, The Departed and, most famously, Titanic.
The actor wants to follow in the footsteps of legendary actor-turned-director Clint Eastwood, recently telling GQ that he imagines directing to be a “game of deciding what to keep your attention on, as opposed to the 20 other things I'm sure people want you to pay attention to”.
Leo went on to say that if he did go down the directing road then he “would try to have the same no-bulls**t approach to it as [Eastwood] and his crew have. Seriously, there are no frills on his set. It's a small, tight-knit crew."
Eastwood has given Leo his seal of approval and thinks that, because he's already an actor, Leo will understand the needs of other actors and the whole film-making process.
Clint Eastwood and Leonardo DiCaprio recently worked together on film J Edgar, which is set to be released in November.
