Not content with being one of the hottest actors on the planet, Robert Pattinson wants us to adore him for being a rock star, too. Oh, go on then, if we must.
It’s not new news that Rob is into playing music, he has already recorded a couple of songs for the Twilight soundtrack, but sources close to the star claim that he now wants to record his own album. But we shouldn’t expect to hear him strumming his guitar on Radio One or T4, because Rob isn’t going down the pop music route.
“Rob has been kicking a few original songs around for a long time, but his schedule didn't allow it,” a pal tells Us Weekly. “Now he's got some weeks to get everything in line before going back to promoting Breaking Dawn. The album Rob will make will be guitar-based and drums, very organic-sounding, nothing pop.”
Another source goes on to reveal just how much Rob loves music. Note the bashed up guitar case in this picture of Rob, which proves he really is a serious muso type,
“Music is his first love! He's tortured because he avoids it. When he's sitting around jamming in the studio, it's his favorite moment of life."
