CHERYL Cole has spoken out about being branded the “Queen of the Chavs” — and revealed that she LOVES it.

The tattooed star landed the title after regularly being seen wearing big hoop earrings, caps and tracksuits.
And Geordie Cheryl, 28, insists she is proud to be a chav — even though the term is normally associated with the likes of Little Britain’s Vicky Pollard and Lotto lout Michael Carroll.
The singer, who grew up on a council estate, said: “What's that about — being derogatory about someone who’s done well from nothing? That’s hilarious, I love that. It’s a big compliment — I’m a chav.”
Speaking about her rags to riches rise, she revealed that a junkie ex-boyfriend once took her to a crack den.
She added: “I’ve dined with Prince Charles, but I’ve also sat in a crack den.”
Cheryl hit out at claims by her former X Factor boss Simon Cowell that she would try to manipulate him “dressed in her tracksuit and slippers”.
She said: “Tracksuit bottoms — how seductive.
“If I can seduce him in my tracksuit and slippers I must have something good.
“If I was going to manipulate him, it would not be in my tracksuit bottoms. I take that as a big compliment that I just have to rock around in my trackie.”
In a further dig at 52-year-old Cowell, Cheryl added that he would only merit “a footnote” or “300 words” in any future book she wrote.
The Call My Name singer also said she felt “sickened” when a sex tape featuring her X Factor replacement Tulisa Contostavlos was made public.
Cheryl — who sparked a miming row at the weekend after appearing on BBC1’s The Voice — said: “It’s just hideous. You never expect in a million years to be put in that situation.
“Whether or not you choose to do that, you still would never expect that to happen. It’s sickening.”
