'Battling blues made my marriage stronger'

PRESENTER Ulrika Jonsson has spoken of her happiness after beating depression and renewing her marriage vows on a Barbados beach.
The former weathergirl said the ceremony with third husband Brian
Monet was a chance “to do something special” after years of back pain
took her “down the lonely road of depression”.
She told Hello! magazine: “Hard times either force you apart or bring you closer together.
“The stresses and pressures we have experienced over the past couple of years, I am thrilled to say, have made us stronger.”
The couple were joined by their son Malcolm, three, and Ulrika’s daughters, Martha, eight, and Bo, 11, from previous relationships.
She paid tribute to advertising executive Monet, who she said was “more than just my husband”.
She said: “He is a jaw-droppingly brilliant father who has the same values of parenthood as I do. His patience knows no bounds. His love for our children is unconditional and their love for him completes our family entirely.”
