Oddball performer Lady Gaga has truly outdone herself by turning up to the Grammy Awards in an egg.
The singer was carried down the red carpet into the annual music awards by five strapping dancers.
E! presenter Ryan Seacrest attempted to interview the pop queen through the egg with one of her attractive helpers explaining: "She's in an embryonic state and won't be born until the performance."
She then burst out of the glowing egg to perform her brand new single, ‘Born This Way', in front of a star-studded crowd at the ceremony in Los Angeles.
