Lindsay Lohan WON'T be a judge on The X Factor USA

Reports have been flying around all day that Lindsay “I’m-not-guilty” Lohan has been lined up already to be a judge of The X Factor USA and that Simon Cowell was keen to get her in for her “edginess”. But thank goodness, an official spokeswoman has tonight dismissed all such claims - which means we don’t have to listen to Li-Lo drone on about “real music” after all. Hurrah!

The very kind lady, who clearly had taken the time out of her Saturday to respond to the situation, said, “We have never spoken to Lindsay Lohan about any role in The X Factor”.

Well that’s that then. And we won’t lie, we’re rather pleased that we won’t have to see Lindsay’s mug on ITV2 every week, because lately we’ve seen far too much of it anyway (you know, the whole felony thing, it’s still going on apparently). And also because we’d far rather the likes of Chezza and Nicole Scherzinger get the job. After all, one's already a judge over here and the other did the guest judge thing last year. Whereas Lins just seems to be hanging out in court at the moment.

But by the sounds of it though Cheryl might be too busy taking ex Ashley Cole back to be concentrating on her career in the US.
