Rio Ferdinand tackles stalker

FOOTBALL ace Rio Ferdinand has brought in the police in a bid to stop an alleged stalker.

The England captain claims the woman plagues him with late-night visits, rapping his door asking to speak to him.
The Manchester United defender, 32, says she attends the same church as his mum Janice and even asks her to pass on messages.
Susanne Ibru, 38, has been charged with harassment, but denies any wrongdoing and insists she is innocent.
She lives on the estate where Rio grew up in Peckham, South East London and is said to have made 400-MILE round-trips to try to speak to the star.
Rio and wife Rebecca live with their sons Lorenz, four, and Tate, two, in a £4million home in Alderley Edge, Cheshire.
Yesterday a source said: "She's accused of turning up at his home at all hours of the day and night.
"There's also an allegation that she has written a number of letters to him. It's all been a bit spooky for Rio and his family and eventually they decided they couldn't take any chances and called in police."
Cops charged Ibru and a trial was due to begin yesterday before JPs in Knutsford, Cheshire. But it was adjourned until next month as she is in poor health.
