Christina Aguilera has been released from jail after passing a sobriety test.
The singer and her boyfriend, Matthew Rutler, were picked up by police after he was spotted driving their car erratically in West Hollywood.
According to Sheriff's spokesperson Steve Whitmore, she "wasn't able to take care of herself...so for the safety of the individual we brought her here until she could fend for herself".The star was booked on a misdemeanour charge of public intoxication and was released after posting $250 bail.
Her boyfriend was charged with suspicion of driving under the influence and booked. Bail was set at $5,000 and he too was later released.
