Robbie Williams Turns Down X-Factor

Robbie Williams has reportedly turned down a deal with the hit UK show ‘X-Factor.’
According to Star magazine, the 37-year-old singer has asked for more money to take part in the upcoming eighth series, which is due to hit UK screens in September.
A source told the magazine that with Simon Cowell leaving the series to judge the upcoming US version of the show, the show’s producers want Williams as his replacement.
“Robbie would be the perfect successor. Rob's likeable, opinionated and funny. But money has been a stumbling block. He wants more of an incentive to put himself out there on live TV every week,” the source said.
Williams made a career comeback on the show in October 2009, which did very well with over 13 million viewers.  Williams has also recently rejoined his former Take That bandmates, who are slated to begin a tour later this year.
Meanwhile, Williams’s wife Ayda is rumored to be considering joining the cast of the next season of ‘The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.’
The television appearances would be quite the contrary to what Williams has said that he wants for his life in the press. The source also said, “Rob prefers the idea of a quiet life. If he had his way, he'd move to a desert island and live like a recluse."
